Story
An old woodcutter finds a baby in a basket and adopts the child. He calls him Chun Ping. When he is old enough the woodcutter sends Chun Ping out to chop wood. When he loses his axe in the river he meets a mysterious stranger who rewards his honesty. The woodcutter, however, pays the price for his greed.
