Story
Elmer isn’t like ordinary elephants. He is a beautifully colourful patchwork elephant and he loves a joke! But one day Elmer grows tired of being different and disguises himself by rolling in grey, elephant coloured, berry juice. Nobody recognises him! It isn’t long though, until his true colours shine through.

Elmer the patchwork elephant is one of the best-known and best-loved children's picture book characters. His bright colours, sense of fun, and the message that it's okay to be different have made him a firm favourite with children and parents for over 30 years.
