This story is about a girl, Violet, who has lost her parents and is trying to find them. She asks a boy, Herbie - who she learns has similar circumstances - to help her and meets a lot of people on the way. Some of these people don't have good intentions, which she learns to avoid. I found this book very interesting from the beginning. It is fast paced with something always happening, and with its ongoing secrets, held my attention to the very end. This book is great for 8+ or for anyone who loves mystery and fantasy.
