My favourite book is Matilda. The main reason I love this book is it is based on her school, home and book life. I also think when you first read the book you never know what’s going to happen. My third reason is that it has characters (adults) of good and evil and in the end good wins. The funniest part is the parrot that says ‘rattle my bones’ and the parents get scared. Another reason is the adults (especially parents) are controlled by Matilda. The final thing is the poor (Miss Honey) come out on top. These are the main and most important reasons I like Matilda.
This book was great! I loved the character Hortensia. The book was also very funny. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves books. So, if you’re planning on reading Matilda, read it now!
