Story
The story of Robin Hood’s first meeting with Little John. On a narrow bridge across a river two men meet and both refuse to step aside for the other. The only solution is to fight. John is taller and stronger but Robin is a skilful fighter. After a close fought contest John knocks Robin into the river. Robin drags himself out of the water and invites John to join his outlaw band.

Why we chose it
Robin Hood is one of the great British folk heroes and Little John is one of the best-known of the merry men. The story of their first meeting is a popular legend with a touch of comedy.
