Story
Sophie, seemingly orphaned in a shipwreck as a baby, is found in a cello case by Charles who becomes her guardian. When the Welfare Agency threaten to banish Sophie to an orphanage, the pair escape to Paris where Sophie meets a group of rooftoppers who help in the search for her mother.

A very fun book. The words instantly put a clear image in your head and the exciting writing makes you keep reading to find out more. The story is creative and makes you wonder what you would do in place of the characters. A great read worth your time. (Martha, age 14)

I enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it. It could have been more gripping at the start but once I got to the main story it was very hard to put down. I liked the storyline as there were many things happening but the characters' main aim was clear. It had a good storyline and also had strong and unique characters. I would highly recommend this book to people who like to read adventure books.
